Hello,

This week is an exciting week for all of us as our children will be receiving their First Reconciliation.  I hope to see all of you on Wednesday.

HERE’S A LOOK AT OUR WEEK…

HOMEWORK:  All homework is being sent home via their homework folder.

Fluency and Reading Log

Math IXL:  T.1/T.3/U.1

Language IXL:  T.1

Study for spelling test on Friday.

Study for math test.  Math review worksheet will be sent home on Wednesday.  Worksheets DO NOT need to be returned since it is to be used at home for studying purposes.

ALL ABOUT ME PROJECT:  We will begin our science project in the classroom but I am asking every child complete an ALL ABOUT ME POSTER at home.  I will be sending it home on Wednesday.  This project is due on February 17th.

RELIGION: We continue to prepare for our Reconciliation. We will begin our new unit, The Eucharist.  We will review unit 3 and take our test on Thursday. 🙂

LANGUAGE ARTS:

Reading:  We are working on nonfiction reading.  Our focus this week is becoming experts on topics.

MATH:   We will be taking our Unit 5 test next Tuesday.  I will send home their math review on Wednesday.

Science: We will begin working on some of our school fair projects in class. We continue our work on steps of the scientific method.

Dates to Remember:

Tuesday and Thursday:  P.E.

Thursday:  Library books due (only if they were not turned in last week).

Friday: PRIMARY CENTERS…Please let me know if you are able to volunteer.
