Week of April 2-5, 2012

Dear Second Grade Families,

RECONCILIATION went well. Thank you for helping to make this a prayerful occasion for your child. We are glad so many parents took the opportunity to go to confession themselves. Thank you to our wonderful room moms and parent volunteers for the delicious brunch that followed. Those who took advantage of spending the rest of the day with your child hopefully had a great time. Sacrament of Reconciliation certificates will be in the blue Tuesday folder,

APRIL IS POETRY MONTH.  Look for directions on the back of the Reading Log for this week.

Since this will be a short week, there will not be a homework packet or spelling words (no test). The assigned homework will be Reading Log (due Thursday) and instructions for the memorization of a poem. (Reading is encouraged during the Easter vacation).
