Dear Families,

Welcome to 5th grade!  I look forward to meeting all parents at our Back to School Night on Wednesday.  We will meet on the patio area at 6:30.  We are learning the routines for 5th grade and doing a great job. Below is an overview of our week:

Math:  We will review rectangular arrays and the use of multiplication numbers to model arrays.

Vocabulary: Unit 1

Grammar:  We are focusing on writing sentences correctly.  We will also focus on capitalizing proper nouns and proper adjectives.

Religion:  Seasons of the Church.

Science:  We are learning about the different parts of a cell

Social Studies:  We are learning how Beringia was formed and why it is important.
