Dear Kindergarten Families,

I sure enjoyed our first three days, your children are fantastic!  We had fun learning together, making friends, and getting to know our buddies. It’s going to be a great year 🙂

This week is a full week of school, every day is a 2:45 dismissal. If your family needs  EDC, the (Extended Day Care)  program, please talk to your child and let me know as well.

Back to School Night this Wednesday – 6:30 to 7:30. Parents please come to hear what we will be learning in  school this year.

Our academic week:

Looking through our religion book and doing a welcoming activity in chapter one. The Children’s Bible is also part of our religion each week.

English Language Arts includes: alphabet letters and sounds, printing practice, writing and reading.

Everyday Math:  patterns, sorting, matching, along with our daily calendar/weather and graphing questions.

Thinking like a scientist helps us to discover the world around us. We will do a simple experiment with water. Life science is where we begin….

Social studies finds us looking at rules!

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to send me an email at: kindergarten@sacredheartschoolventura.org

God bless your families,

Mrs. Carol Brown
