Dear Parents,              January 21, 2014

Thank you to those who were able to help in Primary Centers.  The children (and me) enjoy seeing you in our classroom and truly appreciate the help.  I hope that everyone enjoyed the three-day weekend!

We have a busy week ahead of us! Tuesday is our field trip to the Coronado Butterfly Preserve. Please make sure your student wears jeans, a school polo shirt and sturdy walking shoes. Also, please be reminded to pack a sack lunch and snack.

Wednesday is our 100th day of school! Woo-hoo! Therefore on this day we will be doing a number of 100 day activities, including math and language art ones!

When we do get a chance we will be focusing on how “We Care for Others” from our Family Life series. In social studies we will continue work on our unit “Living in a Community” and in science continued work on environments.

Reminders for the week:

  • Progress Reports will be coming home on Tuesday in the Work Packet Folder.
  • As we will miss our library day due to our field trip we will be trying to squeeze in a visit sometime during the week. Please remind your child to bring their library book to school each day until we get a chance to check out a new one.
  • Friday is half day and Parents Day! Please join us for mass at 8:30, followed by classroom visits after our recess! I hope all of you can make this special day!
  • This week is All About…Diego I! Congratulations!!

Have a wonderful week!

~Ms. Manning
