Dear Parents,                     December 14, 2015

It was wonderful to see all of you during parent-teacher conferences last week! Thank you for taking time from your schedule to meet with me.

This week, we are in full Christmas mode!

Language Arts: We are finishing our letter for our Secret Santa, filling out an elf application, and enjoying the Christmas season with a few writing and spelling activities.

Math: We are reviewing this week with a lot of games!

Religion: We will be reading from our religion books this week. This week we will learn about the birth of Jesus.

Science: We will be unable to do any science this week. 🙁

Social Studies: We will be able to do a quick lesson on the post office to discuss how Santa gets all of those Christmas letters!!

Homework for the Week:

  • Monday: Read 2 times
  • Tuesday: Bring in Secret Santa Stocking
  • Wednesday: Read 2 times!
  • Thursday: Read 2 times
  • Friday: Read everyday over break!

Reminders for the Week:

  • PE Uniforms on Tuesday and Thursday!
  • Please remind your child to bring their library book on Tuesday so that they may check out a new one.
  • Wednesday is a $1 free dress day!
  • Wednesday is our Christmas program in Biedermann Hall at 6:30. Please make sure to have your student in the hall by 6:15!
  • Friday is a half-day, “free” free dress day, and our Christmas Party!
  • Return to SHS on January 4th, 2016
