We will have a free dress day ($1 donation) this Wednesday. All of the money will be sent to the Archdiocese, which will in turn send it to Nepal for earthquake relief.  There is up to $100,000 in matching funds that has been offered, so we encourage everyone to be even more generous than usual.

We have a long Memorial Day weekend coming up, but I would like Reading logs to be completed for five days, due next Tuesday. You may click here to access the form. Weekly_Reading_Log

We will not be doing ixL Math this week; I will send home a Math worksheet each afternoon, to be completed by the following day.

We have begun Unit 29 in Spelling; the test will be on Thursday.  Book pages should be done by then.

In Social Studies we are reading chapter 7, learning about improvements in transportation and communication after California became a state.

In Vocabulary we are working on Unit 16; the test will be next week

In Grammar we continue our study of adjectives, adverbs and prepositions.

This week in Science we conclude our study of Unit 6; we will have a test on Wednesday.  Students have three packets of information, which should be completed by tomorrow.

In Religion class we begin our study of the Beatitudes.

In Reading class we continue reading our final selections for the year.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!
