This Thursday, October 20th, is Hats Off to Cancer day.  Please send a new child size cap or hat to school with your child.  Send it with the tags still on, in a plastic bag.  Students may also wear their own hats to school this day.  This is a wonderful cause, helping those children who have lost their hair as a result of cancer therapy.  It is especially near and dear to this class because their classmate, Trinity, has had cancer and did lose her hair.  Thank you to Trinity for sharing her story and photos with us.  God bless you and your family!

I will give the chapter two social studies vocabulary test on Friday.  All students should be reviewing their vocabulary as part of their homework assignment every evening.  Don’t forget that the Spelling City website is a very good resource.  Also, many students are not using the IXL math site.  Please allow time for your child to spend time using these helpful sites.

We will be attending a living rosary at 2:00 in the church on Wednesday.  If you are available we would love to have you join us.

Friday is a full day.

Have a great week!

Mrs. Sharon Redmond
