There is a lot happening in grade 4 this week!

Math:  more measurement

Spelling:  unit 34

Social Studies:  CA agriculture, the students will also be given the next list of vocabulary to study , list 8

Science:  Chapter 8 vocabulary test Tuesday, April 31

Religion:  Family Life series is continued

English:  Pronouns test on Wednesday, May 1

Reading:  Students complete compare and contrast essays on two different Native American cultures.

This Friday we will be attending the Ojai Story Tellers Festival.  We depart school at 10:15 and return about 1:15.  Please make sure your child has a packed lunch and a water bottle for the day.  Uniforms are to be worn for this trip.

Next Wednesday, May 8th, we will be going to the La Purisima Mission.  A field trip permission slip went home last week.  If you have not yet done so, please sign and return this slip as soon as possible.

Please make sure your child has his or her book report book completed and at school by this Wednesday.  As always, we will write the report in class
