The big news this week is the intermediate grades musical!  The Mrs. Lyle and the students have been working very hard to bring you this musical celebrating our great country.  I look forward to seeing all of you on Wednesday evening.

We are moving right along in the fourth grade curriculum.  The chapter 9 math test is scheduled for tomorrow, May 21st.  We then begin our last math unit, geometry.

We will continue social studies with week 27.  Time restrictions did not allow time to cover it fully last week.

We are finished with all the spelling units!!

Adverbs are reviewed this week for English.  Prepositions will also be studied.

The students have done a great job writing their compare and contrast essays for Unit 5 in reading, “Children of the Earth and Sky”.  The essays will be sent home Tuesday.

The book reports (informational text) have been completed and will go home next week after the illustrations are completed.  They are also very good!!

Please assist your child in gathering information and costume pieces for his or her California Wax Museum project.

See you Wednesday!

Mrs. Sharon Redmond

We continue to discuss the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy during religion lessons this week.

The chapter 9 science vocabulary test will be given Wednesday, May 29th.  List 7 words for social studies will be tested one week later, Wednesday, June 5th.
