This week is Catholic Schools Week. Please make sure to check our calendar of events because we have many fun things planned!  Wednesday is free dress for students as we celebrate all of them.

Please make sure your child is reading the book for his or her report.  The book needs to be at school on or before Feb. 13th.

This week for religion we read and discuss the parable of the Lost Sheep. Fractions are still the focus for math as we delve deeper by adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators.  During English we are reviewing for the upcoming test on what has been studied this year (Tues., Feb. 5th).  Students are completing their essays about what it means to be a responsible fourth grader.  We complete The Black Stallion this week. The chapter 5 social studies vocabulary test will be given tomorrow (Tuesday). Science brings us to the discussion of earthquakes and volcanos.

Have a great week!

Mrs. Sharon Redmond
