This week in fourth grade:

Math:  All fourth grade students should be taking their math books home to review every night.

English:  Adverbs will be explored.  Book reports about an informational book are continued.

Reading:  All students are writing an essay comparing and contrasting two Native American tribes.  We will also begin reading and discussing Can You Hear A Shout In Space?

Science:  We continue to investigate magnetism.  Students should be studying the chapter 9 vocabulary every evening.

Social Studies:  Students should be studying the List 8 vocabulary every evening.

Religion:  We conclude our Family Life series this week.

On Wednesday we will take the bus to La Purisima.  Please make sure your child has a packed lunch and a water bottle.  Old, sturdy shoes are to be worn.  The students will get dirty, so keep that in mind as they choose their clothing for the day.  A sweatshirt or light jacket should also be worn this day.

Have a good week!
