Last Friday’s pumpkin sale was a huge hit!  The children had a great time choosing pumpkins and visiting the giant turkey.  I think fall is finally in the air.

This week for religion we will discuss the various forms of prayer (petition, adoration, thanksgiving, and intercession.) Our focus is still multiplication during math time.  The students are busy writing essays for language arts.  We will also begin reading and discussing Hurricane. The chapter 2 science vocabulary test will be given this Thursday.  Social studies will be reading about and discussing the earliest Californians.  During our computer time, I will help students gather a bit of information about their mission/California project.  They will save it to their flashdrives and eventually take it home to have as they write their project essays.

This Friday we will have collaborative learning groups and a noon dismissal.

Have a great week!

Mrs. Sharon Redmond
