On Friday, the birthday of Dr. Seuss, Sacred Heart School students & staff will enjoy morning and afternoon events to celebrate this special day.  As we return from Mass and are settled in the classrooms, everyone will read silently for 15 minutes prior to the 10a recess.  In the afternoon, the school families’ activity includes making a Dr. Seuss hat, a bookmark, and listening to Dr. Seuss books read aloud.  Throughout March, students are encouraged to enter their name in a drawing each time a book is completed and at the end of the month winners will be selected at the primary, intermediate, and middle school level for many reading-related prizes.
