Exciting times and great learning going on in the science lab! Using our senses we learned that H2O in its natural state is the only element that exists in three forms.  We poured, noting water in its liquid state takes the shape of the container.  Exploring the very cold solid state we took notes in our journal. Much excitement when we observed  water with a little carbon dioxide (CO2) evaporate in its gas state.  click on movie to see a clip  Gas State Movie

Today, Mr. Doswell showed us how liquid soap, H2O and CO2 can make huge bubbles filled with gas. All students has an amazing time watching their groups bubble grow, comparing, counting and measuring learning hands-on!  click on movie clip   H2O and CO2 Movie
