The 6th grade class enjoyed a spectacular day at the Getty Villa in Malibu. With the sun shining we spent the day surrounded by antiquities ranging in age from 4,000 to 2,000 years old. A few highlights were the actual villa with marble floors and hand painted ceilings, gold jewelry, and many marble statues of Greek gods and Roman emperors. Tomorrow we will continue a discussion about all we saw and experienced today.
