Dear Kindergarten Families,
The second trimester will focus on key learning with attention to reading and math at a higher level than the months before. Parent support is essential, as you work together on math/science and language arts. With this in mind, I would like to see both fiction and non-fiction reading listed on the new book log. Listings in Reading Glue is fine, but should also list title and whether the book is fiction or non-fiction.
I am providing access to the World Book Web through our school license. Please visit this site get comfortable it has a wealth of knowledge- start with the World of Animals. Login information will be labeled on the inside of your child’s homework folder. Once in site, click on “kids” balloon -find Animal section, to navigate back… click on “World Book Kids” top left on page.
IXL has added a Language Arts section- please spend time working on sections listed. Login info is the same.
