Dear Kindergarten Parents,
Read each night for 20 minutes. Record book and time on reading/web log. Choose from one of the books read and do a book response: discuss with your child what to report on either fiction or non-fiction book.
Everyday Math worksheet – this number grid puzzle was introduced in class. Your student understands how to fill-in the missing numbers. At home try this as a timed exercise-it will help you to see your child’s grasp on number sense.
On EM website login and choose section 7.9 go to any game. Note at bottom I have set up a test. Try the 17 problems-when finished click ‘turn in’ option.
IXL work on sections R. 6 and E. 6. During the week spend about 10-15 minutes on ixl. The sections do not have to be completed- practicing skills continues to reinforce math concepts.
