Dear Kindergarten Families,
This week:
Following your nightly reading routine – list books or any reading material on reading log. Read an informational book or the April issue of Young Explorer magazine with your child and complete a non-fiction book response.
Your children are progressing along with our weekly spelling practice and tests. It is amazing to see how well they are spelling. I am attaching List 2, 3, and 4 for your children to practice. We are working with these words in class- practicing at home will help your child be successful. Previous spelling tests will come home on Tuesday in the “Take Home folder”. Review words on spelling document below. Continue to use Spelling City for games to help with spelling.
I am not assigning any IXL this week – play games in Everyday Math and take the CBM math test. Follow the link and choose ‘second numbers test’, your child’s name and ‘Nums and Ops K_2’. Your children are doing very well with these online tests.
