Our field trip to Coronado Butterfly Preserve with first and second grade is next Tuesday.  Outdoor science connection includes migration, habitats and life cycles of the monarch. Please sign and return the permission slip this week.

This week our religion lesson is centered on the protective love Jesus has for each of us as your students learn the parable of the Good Shepherd.

We are wrapping up Theme 3 in series. Theme test will be on Thursday.  Initial sounds for this week are /n/ and /h/. Our reading strategies include organizing and summarizing as we respond in our practice books.  Small reading groups begin on Wednesday.

Sight word testing will review starting with list 1.  It is important to re-check to see if all words are memorized.  This week sight word envelopes will come home.
