Dear Families,

Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a restful break.  This week we are reviewing academics and returning to our schedules.  All days this week are full days with a 2:45 dismissal.  Family envelopes will go home on Thursday. I look forward to meeting with everyone next week during Parent Conferences.  Parent Conferences will be on the 10th, 11th, and 12th.  Each day of conference will have a 11:30 dismissal.  Below is an overview of our week.

Social Studies:  We will discuss the cause and effect relationship between the fur trade with the Europeans and the Native Americans.

Vocabulary:  We are taking our Unit 6 test on Friday.

Grammar:  We are reviewing verbs and direct objects.

Religion:  We continue with our study of the Parts of the Mass.

Math:  We are reviewing partial quotients division with whole numbers.

Science:  We will learn about the various strategies used to get water where it is needed in California.
