Dear Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend.  Wednesday is Free Dress for a $1.00 donation.  This Friday is the start of Catholic Schools Week.   Please join us for Parents’ Day this Friday.  This Friday is a noon dismissal.

Below is an overview of our week.

Math:  We will find equivalent names for fractions and mixed numbers.  We will also be comparing fractions and mixed numbers.  The IXL sections this week are H.8 and H.9.

Religion:  This week we will be taking the ACRE test.

Vocabulary: Unit 6

Science: We will learn that precipitation can take the form of rain, snow, sleet or hail.

Grammar: We will be working with perfect tense verbs.

Social Studies:  We will be having our states test on Wednesday.  We will draw conclusions about why it was difficult to settle Louisiana.

ELA:  Unit 3, Clues to a Culture.
