Dear Families,

This week we are collecting food for the Sacred Heart Food Pantry.  We are also including donation of small toys.   Wednesday is Student Appreciation Day. Wednesday is free dress for all students!  A hamburger lunch will also be provided for all students.  Please return the Virtues forms if you have not already done so.

Below is an overview of our week.

Math:  We continue to review how to interpret remainders and how to make magnitude estimates.  We will be taking our Unit 4 test on February 5th.

Science: We will learn that oceans have a major effect on Earth’s weather and climate.  Our next test is next Thursday.

Social Studies:  We are analyzing the reasons the Massachusetts Bay colony was established.  We will have our next states test on February 8th.

Grammar: We are focusing on the perfect tenses and inappropriate shifts in verb tenses.

Vocabulary:  We will be taking our Unit 8 test on Wednesday.

Religion: Chapter 10.  Jesus gives himself to us with Holy Communion.
