Dear Families,

I am so excited to share the news that the class was able to collect $161.08 for Blessings in a Backpack. Our original goal was $80.00.  With the monies we collected we will be able to provide food for two students for the school year.  I am very proud of the class.

We are almost finished with the school year!  For the next week we will be working on finishing up chapters and units.  This Wednesday is our 5th Jogathon Free Dress day.  We will also have our used uniform sale at 2 pm.  June 6th is a noon dismissal.  Below is an overview of our week.

Math:  We will continue reviewing fractions and basic math facts.  IXL.com homework is for students who need to finish certain sections.  The students know what sections need to be completed.

Grammar:  Unit 6.  We will have our last test on  Wednesday.

Vocabulary:  We will be reviewing units 7-12.

Science:  Students are studying the Water Cycle.

Social Studies: We will continue to study the three branches of government.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Thank you,

Ms. Carney
