Dear Fifth Grade,

There is only three weeks left in the school year. The fifth grade class in going to be very busy. Wednesday and Friday this week is Jogathon Free Dress. Wednesday is also the PTC Pizza and Slide Show at 6:30. Friday is a School wide Centers and a noon dismissal.

Every night your child should be reviewing their Social Studies and Science notes. By Friday every student needs to have completed three Acc math packets. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. My email address is fifthgrade@sacredheartschoolventura.org. Please make sure that all students have their needed supplies everyday (paper, pencils, binders and flash drives).

Below is an overview of our week.

Math: We will be reviewing place value, number sense and exponents.

Science: We will be discussing how gravity is the attractive force between any two bodies that have mass..

Social Studies: We continue to be leaning about the three different branches of government and their checks and balances.

English Students will continue to present their Important Person Report. We will also be identifying proper adjectives.

Religion: We will be studying the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed.
