Dear Kindergarten Parents and Families,

Your students last week as kindergartners! It is really hard to believe. This year went by so fast and they will be moving on to first grade.  I am very proud of your children as I know you are.  It has been a pleasure teaching them this year. They make me smile every day!  To the right is an example of the caring and kindness that came so naturally this year.

They truly have made fantastic progress and will do well as they move next door to Miss Manning’s first grade class.

I cannot forget to say thank you to our room moms, Desiree and Trudi for all their help to make this year successful. And parents thank you for your time, support, and help in our classroom and at home helping prepare booklets, extra cutting projects, and so much more.

We have an exciting week planned for our last days before summer.      On Monday, we will participate in Field Day after lunch. This is when we wear family colors.

*Monday yearbooks will be distributed.  Your child can bring their yearbook back to school every day for autographs from their school friends. If you did not order a yearbook, they will be available through mail order.

Tuesday we will have our last assembly at 2:00 parents are welcome. 😉

Wednesday is the graduation Mass for the eighth grade students we will attend at 8:30, parents are of course, welcome. 😉

Thursday is Spirit Day. A free dress (no $$) and a noon dismissal.

Friday’s dismissal is at 10:00. Please have students come in uniform for Mass at 8:30 our last time together as Kinders. Final report cards will come home with your children.

Summer homework will be posted online as school ends-please spend time with your child keeping up on skills as we prepare for first grade.

It has been a wonderful year!

God bless your families as you enjoy the summer!

Mrs. Carol Brown
