Dear Families,

2nd trimester progress reports go home on Tuesday. Please sign and return the envelope by Friday.  This Friday is a 2:45 dismissal.  Below is an overview of our week:

Religion:  We will focus on the Sacrament of Healing. Please join us on Wednesday at 2:00 in the church for Stations of the Cross.

Vocabulary: unit 9

Grammar: Our focus this week is on adverbs and comparing with adverbs.

Math: Our IXL sections this week are L.6 add fractions with unlike denominators using models and L.7 add up to 4 fractions with denominators of 10 and 100.  We will begin unit 7 this week.  We will be working with exponents.

Social Studies:  We are focusing on the lives of key individuals during the period of the Revolutionary War.

Science: We will focus on how the sun is the center of the solar system.

ELA:  Our strategy this week is to recognize common elements of a story (plot, character, setting and theme).
