Dear Kindergarten Parents,

Primary Centers was fun on Friday, all the little leprechauns  enjoyed being in character as they worked on March crafts.  Thank you parents/grandparents/and friends for all your help, we sure appreciate it.

During Lent, we attend Stations of the Cross on Wednesdays at 2:00, if you can come a little early, please join us.

**Thursday, we will go to Mass, since Friday is a school holiday.

St. Patrick’s Day is this Thursday. To celebrate, your students may wear:  green for top and bottom is uniform. Students may wear green shirt or blouse, socks, and green hair bows or headbands. Uniform skirt, skort, jumper, pants or shorts for the bottom.

Our academic schedule will follow the usual pattern with centers for language arts and math.

Preparing for each day during the season of Lent to understand the depth of  Jesus’ love, we learn from His example how to treat our families and others.

Reading short /i/word families, ‘it’ and ‘ig’, segmenting words, reviewing the short /a/ families, writing with nouns, action words, and using correct sentence structure. We are enjoying math as we measure in various ways, later in the chapter we will be working on counting and identifying coins; pennies, nickels, and dimes. Science lessons include the properties of water, and Social Studies, we will continue with the water cycle and our natural resources.

Report Cards coming home on Tuesday. Please keep the report card for your records, kindly sign and return the envelope.
