Dear Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed the four day weekend.  Although this is a short week there is much going on int he fifth grade class.  Thursday we will have a Flag Retirement Ceremony at 11am.  Please join us if your schedule allows.  Friday is a full day of school with a 2:45 dismissal.  Below is an overview of our week.

Math:   We will be practicing using a table to interpret data.  Our  IXL section  this week is G.2

Religion:  We will be discussing the Baptism of Jesus.

Grammar:  We will have our Unit 2 test on Wednesday.  We will then begin unit 3.

Vocabulary:  Unit 4

Science:  We will be learning about the excretory system and how it removes waste and helps maintain water levels.

Social Studies: Building New Spain in America.

ELA:  We continue to work on our Unit 4 novels.
