Dear Families,

On Tuesday Progress Reports will be sent home.  Please sign and return the Progress Report by Friday.  Friday is a noon dismissal.  Please remember to send water bottles with your children to school each day.  Below please find an overview of our week.

Religion:  Baptism Unites Us with the Christian Community.

Social  Studies:  This week we are focusing on the Native Americans of the Great Plains.   Students will have their next states test on October 12th.

Science:  We are learning how plants have specialized tissues and use natural forces to transport water, minerals, and nutrients.

Math:  We will review the use of mathematical models to solve number stories.

Vocabulary:  Unit 3

Grammar:  We are focusing on simple subjects and simple predicates.

ELA:  We are learning how to bring forward the story arc of our narrative writing.
