Dear Kindergarten Families,

Monday we are walking field trip to the Fire Station, led by Fire Fighter Captain Thom Hoffman. We will be with our 4th grade buddies as they review fire safety and we tour the fire station. firestationThis field trip will connect with our learning about community helpers and fire safety. Be sure to ask all about the Fire Station tour.

This week we have another special event! Mr and Mrs Abing local farmers, will present an outreach program on pumpkins.  We will learn about plants and their growing cycle told with puppets, listen to a story, observe different vegetables.

Thursday we enjoyed our Native American storyteller last week – we learned some songs, heard a couple of stories, and asked many questions.

Tattoo monies can come in any time this week – $1.00 per tattoo. Some interested families have already sent in their $$.  Keep it coming in -all money raised will support Adopt-A-Family. Only 2 tattoos will be placed on your child’s hands – if you buy more than 2 they will come home for Halloween night!

Friday is a free, free dress! Halloween colors can be worn- BUT no costumes, please!

As I mentioned in the homework letter – most Saint’s reports are in – if you are still working – send in as soon as you finish. Hoping all families have their saint’s costumes ready for next Friday, November 6. Please do a dress rehearsal with their costume on. Any possible malfunctions can be found at home instead of during Mass. Have your child walk, sit, and kneel in their costume to be sure. Your children will announce which saint they are portraying at the end of Mass.
