Dear Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed their extra day off yesterday.  We have much to do in 5th grade this week.  This Friday is a full day of school. Below please find an overview of our week.

Math: We will  develop estimation strategies when finding an exact answer is impractical.

Science: We are beginning Chapter 2.  We are comparing vascular and non vascular plants.

Voc: Unit 3.  We will have our  Unit 3 test next Tuesday.

Social Studies:  We are beginning Chapter 3.  We will hypothesize about stories of early European and Asian visits to the Americas.

Religion:  We will be discussing the Rosary.

ELA:  We are focusing on “Renaissance Thinking”.
