Sacred Heart School uniforms are to be purchased from either Dennis Uniform (www.dennisuniform.com) or Proforma (sacredheartschool.itemorder.com).
Parents/guardians and students are expected to adhere to the uniform code. If there is a question about something not specifically mentioned in the handbook, the principal will make the final decision. Emphasis will be placed on good taste, neatness, cleanliness, and modesty.

If a student frequently disregards the uniform code, then the parents/guardians will be contacted.

Cardigan

All pants, shorts, skirts, and skorts must come from Dennis Uniform.

All cardigans must come from Proforma.  An exception applies for lower grade students when Proforma cannot fit that student.  Proforma will add the school logo to a cardigan provided by an outside vendor.

Sweatshirt The official red or navy school sweatshirts must be purchased from Proforma. Sweatshirts must fit and be in good condition. K – 8 K – 8

Socks Visible plain white, red, navy blue, gray, brown or black socks must be worn at all times.  Subtle patterns in these color schemes are acceptable. K – 8 K – 8

Shoes Predominantly solid color white, red, navy blue, black, gray, or brown shoes. Laces should be colored same as above. No lights, add-ons, platforms. Laced shoes are a challenge for students who cannot tie them.  Please select athletic shoes for PE days. K – 8 K – 8
PE Uniforms PE shorts, pants, and shirts must be from Proforma and are required for PE classes. Standard athletic shoes, laced or velcroed help to prevent injury.  PE pants only (no shirt/short) may be worn with the uniform collared shirt on non-PE days. K – 8 K – 8
Belt Belts are optional in a solid navy blue, black or brown—canvas or dress material. No exaggerated lengths. Buckles should be simple, free of design. K -8 K -8

DRESS CODE FOR NON-UNIFORM DAYS

Free dress is a privilege granted to students at different times during the year. Free dress clothing must be neat, clean and modest. The school will require that parents bring an appropriate change of clothes to school if a student is inappropriately dressed.
