Our Palmisano Writing Contest Assembly was originally scheduled for Monday, March 20, but The Palmisano Family has asked that we reschedule to Friday afternoon at 12:45p.

All students wrote in response to a prompt:  “What Can You Do to Make The World a Better Place?”  Many teachers used Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech as a model of what he hoped our world might be.

Five finalists were selected from each grade and all will be recognized at the Friday Assembly.

The Palmisano Family selects one winner from the primary, intermediate, and Middle School levels.  Those three students  receive a month’s tuition paid by The Joseph Palmisano Memorial Scholarship Fund which is kept by Sacred Heart Church.

The Palmisano Family sponsors a basketball clinic each November to build the Memorial Scholarship Fund for Joseph Palmisano, husband and father.  Donations can be made in the school office or the rectory at any point in the year.

We appreciate The Palmisano Family greatly and look forward to learning who this year’s winners are!
