Grammar: We continue Unit 3, which focuses upon types of verbs.

Vocabulary: We begin our study of Unit 12 words. The test will be next week.

Reading: The reading log will be due on Monday (click here for a copy) Reading log summary and Fluency Homework #23 will be due next Monday as well .

Social Studies: We begin reading Studies Weekly #14. We are learning about the influx of people moving to California for new opportunities: explorers, trappers, farmers, and miners, and we are also learning how the Mexican government reacted to all of these new settlers in Alta California.

Science: We conclude our study of Chapter 5; there will be a test on this chapter on Thursday. We will prepare a study sheet in class.

I look forward to seeing all of the mission projects on Wednesday. See you at the School Fair!
