Dear Fifth Grade Families,
Thank you everyone who was able to come to Grandparent’s Day. It was a wonderful day!
On Wednesday, September 12th , will be picture day. Students are to wear their uniforms. Money and order forms are due on Wednesday. This Friday is a full day.

Below is an overview of our week.
Math: Chapter 1. We will be comparing and ordering decimals. We will be having a vocabulary quiz on Thursday.
Science: We will be analyzing how cells move materials (diffusion and osmosis). We will also be looking at organisms and energy.
Spelling: Unit 31. We will have our spelling test on Friday.
Vocabulary: Unit 2
Social Studies: Chapter 1. We will be preparing and reviewing for our first test which will be this Wednesday.
English: We will be interpreting figurative language. This week we will continue focusing on metaphors.
Religion: We will be discussing the Gospels.
Literature: We will begin reading our novel, Indian in the Cupboard.
