Dear Families,

It was so great to see so many family members here for Grandparents Day.  We had a wonderful time.  This Tuesday family envelopes and student work packets will be going home.  Please return the envelopes on Wednesday.  Friday is a full day of school.  Below is an overview of our week:

Math:  I will introduce square numbers and prime factorization.  The IXL sections are C.4 and C.5

Religion:  We will continue to talk about the Four Marks of the Church.

Science:  We will learn how cells come together to perform basic life functions.

Social Studies:  We are finishing chapter 1.  We will have our second states test next Tuesday (20th) and our chapter 1 test next Thursday (22nd).

Vocabulary:  We are taking our unit 1 vocabulary test on Tuesday.  We will then begin unit 2.

Grammar:  Our focus this week is on quotations and homophones.
