Dear Kindergarten Parents,

It was nice meeting all Grandparents on Friday. We really enjoyed having them help us learn. Thanks to all grandparents of Sacred Heart School – we appreciate you!

This week’s events:

Wednesday we will be raising money for our first trimester mission,  Adopt-A-Family. All students bring in $1.00 or more to help support our mission project.  AND  it is a day to come to school dressed in their favorite non-uniform clothes. Please check the handbook for the non-uniform dress code. It is always important for your child to wear shoes. No sandals, please. Also dresses, skirts, and shorts for girls need to be the same length as their uniform.

Thursday we have a special outreach program from the City of Ventura called Feathered Friends. Their program brings much information on birds using  hands on materials and puppets. All programs follow California Science Standards. Our science focus begins with  Life Science; different types of plants and animals that inhabit the Earth.

Friday is a full day of school – we will enjoy ‘School Families’ in the afternoon.
