Held at the Balboa Middle School Gym this year on Saturday, November 13th, this clinic is a great start to the basketball season for players in grades 3-9 and all proceeds will benefit the Scholarship Fund created by the Palmisano Family. After the first of the year, we will begin our annual writing contest for grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 and a winner from each level will be announced at our Assembly on March 17th, the closest school day we have to March 19th, St. Joseph’s feast day. Each winner will receive tuition assistance from the Palmisano Scholarship Fund that can be used for the current or coming school year. We are thankful to Mrs. Palmisano and her children for honoring her husband and their father with this Scholarship Fund. Details about the Clinic are available in the Family Envelope.
Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
