This Sunday is the 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Gospel offers a powerful message for all of us. Jesus tells us that the greatest commandments we need to follow are to love God and our neighbors. The class discussed how easy it is to love God and our friends. The tricky part comes in when we realized that we also have to love the “neighbors” we do not like or get along with everyday. The reflection focused on why they could be hard to love and how to work on that to be better people. The students reflections were very thought out and offered good ideas on how to improve themselves.

The seventh grade is working on their saint eulogies. They have chosen, researched, and written a eulogy commemorating the saint’s life. These will be shared with the class throughout the week.

The sixth grade worked on saint research and then designed tombstones with an epitaph summarizing the life of the saint. They will also share these during the upcoming week.
