Dear Second Grade Families,
Sacrament time is soon approaching.  The Sacrament of Reconciliation for your Sacred Heart School child will be celebrated during the school day.  I will be meeting with our priests soon to set the date.  Information and the dates (for both sacraments) will be sent home soon.  Included will be a recommended clothing requirements list for Holy Communion.  Since all the stores seem to be having sales, this will help you in your purchases and planning.
FRIDAY is a short day (12:00 dismissal) and also January Primary Centers. We have a core of classroom helpers, but always welcome more. If your schedule allows and you would like to join us, please let Sara Glauser know. If you can contribute an unopened package of white miniature marshmallows for this day, it would be great. Please let me know by Wednesday so I can plan. Thanks.
CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK will be at the end of this month. There will be more information coming. Look for further details in the school newsletter for all the activities.
FLAT PEOPLE post cards will be sent out this week. We will be writing another letter at the end of the month.
