Dear Second Grade Families,
WOW!!! This is the last week of our school year. The students will begin to bring things home gradually so there will not be quite so much on Friday.  The last second grade letter will be in the envelope your child will receive on Friday, our last day. There will also be things saved through the year, including math stars, and birthday characters, etc.  So stay tuned.
And the last week looks like this:
RELIGION: living as a child of God and knowing that God loves us just as we are; the Ascension of Jesus and the feast of Pentecost.
LANGUAGE ART, Literature stories; reading for comprehension and fluency; prefixes and suffixes; more vowel pairs and homonyms, antonyms, and synonyms; creative writing; ABC order; dictionary work; and lots of cursive handwriting.
MATH: Addition and subtraction facts to twenty; more double digit adding and subtracting with regrouping; geometry;  Math tests have come to an end.  Keep practicing those math facts, counting money, and telling time!
Congratulations to the newest MATH STARS…Bucko, Ani, and Erin.
PLEASE REMEMBER
1. Thursday is Spirit Day. There will be school appropriate free dress   and lunch will be provided. Dismissal will be 12:00.
