Dear Second Grade Families,
The School Fair was a great success. All enjoyed the hard work accomplished by SHS students, as well as our own second grade “The Adventures of Flat People”. At this writing, there are still three flat people out and about. Every year brings a new flat person adventure. This year it was a visit to a tattoo parlor where the flat person received a tattoo of a heart with the word “MOM”!
First Reconciliation will be Wednesday, March 23, 9:30 am in church followed by a small reception. There will be information coming to you detailing the way you can help with this. Our non-Catholic students are included. Remember you can sign your child out from school after the reception and continue your family day.
March will be the last month for the BOOK-IT reading program. Something else will begin in April to continue encouraging reading at home.
FRIDAY is primary centers and an early dismissal day.
