Dear Kindergarten Families,

It is hard to believe we have been in school over 40 days! This week’s events include:

  • Vision screening on Monday,
  • Wednesday is a very special day as we will Pray the Rosary.  Middle school students will form a “Living Rosary” around the church leading us in prayer. If you can join us please do, time is 2:00.
  • Wednesday morning – picture re-take day.
  • Thursday we will partake in the California Statewide Earthquake Drill.
  • Thursday is also our assembly for Hats Off for Cancer –please bring in a new hat for cancer victims.
  • Friday is a full day of school

If your child has a rosary, it would be fine to bring it to school on Wednesday. We are praying a Hail Mary each day in class. Please remember, this Tuesday is the deadline for sending in the name of your child will portray  in the Saint’s Parade. Please contact me if  you are having a difficult time with choosing a saint for your child.

I am very happy with the reading and effort your children are putting into homework. Thank you for helping them, it shows! It is time for more technology and less worksheets. This week we will have a couple of websites to visit. Part of your child’s homework will be to create a comic. Do not worry, we will practice in the lab on Tuesday and Thursday to be familiar with the assignment.

Have a great week!

Mrs. Carol Brown
