Dearest Third Grade Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend. I look forward to seeing so many of you this Friday for Parent’s Day!  Progress Reports went home today. Remember to sign and return these by Friday as well.

This week we’ll be studying the following:

Math: This week the class will continue Unit 5 (Place Value) reviewing lessons 5.5 5.7 and 5.8. As always, feel free to follow along with us at www.everydaymathonline.com. Your child’s username and password can be found in his/her planner. The Chapter 5 test will not take place this week. Rather, the class will be extending our study of decimals a bit longer.

Remember to continue practicing those multiplication and division Facts Goals. Individual student testing will continue this week. Check your child’s planner for a note indicating whether he/she is ready to go on to the next Goal or needs some more practice on the current one. Click here for all 8 math facts goals.
