This week in first grade, we are learning…
Language Arts: We will be taking the week to wrap up a few items and complete some Christmas activities tied with Christmas stories!
Spelling: This week, we do not have new spelling words.
Math: We will be taking this week to review the content that we have learned thus far.
Religion: We will be reading from our textbook this week and discussing the birth of Jesus.
Social Studies: We will be wrapping up our important person studies by completing a book report.
Homework for the Week:
- Monday: Christmas Math Worksheet
- Tuesday: Christmas Math Worksheet
- Wednesday: Just Reading!
- Thursday: Just Reading!
- Friday: Read Everyday!
Reminders for the Week:
- Last day for donut sales is tomorrow! Donut Day is Tuesday!
- PE Uniforms on Tuesday and Thursday!
- Please remind your child to bring their library book on Tuesday so that they may check out a new one.
- Wednesday is the Christmas Program!
- Please return your Secret Santa Stocking by Wednesday!
- Friday is a noon dismissal and our Christmas Party.

- School resumes on January 5th
- Schoolwide centers is on January 16th
- No School on January 19th
