Every year, Sacred Heart School participates in the national spelling bee as five students from each class in grades 4-7 and all who elect from 8th grade compete on stage in Biedermann Hall.  Following their Christmas vacation preparation, spellers remain on stage as they spell correctly until only two remain.  A spell-off follows until one error is followed by two words spelled correctly to identify our winner.  Intense throughout, the spell-off moments are extremely intense!  If your schedule allows, please join us for this educational and exciting event.  Competition for our winner continues in the Ventura County Spelling Bee and other bees that lead to the big one in Washington DC.
