I enjoyed seeing many of you here on Sunday for our Open House. It is always a pleasure to open the classroom for visitors!
This will be a busy week for our school. Monday afternoon we will play Bingo with the eighth grade. Tuesday is student appreciation day and Mrs. Benner is treating the school to cheeseburgers! This is a free dress and no homework day for our students. Wednesday we will have a pep-rally. Wednesday is also teacher appreciation day. Teachers will be treated to lunch by the PTC. Thursday we show appreciation for our clergy, and Friday I am hoping to have many parents visit our classroom for a special project.
We also have a little time left over from the festivities for some academics. Tuesday the students will be quizzed on the Introductory Rite of the Mass. A science quiz is planned for Thursday. Students will also be completing book reports this week. We will finish reading From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler and will learn more about Mrs. Frankweiler’s role in the mystery.
Please join us this Friday morning for mass and a classroom visit!
