In March, the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams compete in the play-off tournament held at the Saint Bonaventure High School gym to complete the winter sports’ season. The schools involved in the tournament include Holy Cross, Our Lady of the Assumption, Saint Augustine, Saint Sebastian, Mary Magdalen, and Sacred Heart. The boys’ team narrowly lost in the opening round, but the girls advanced to the finals and played Saint Augustine in the championship game. At the buzzer, the score was SHS 31 SA 19. This win returns the perpetual trophy to Sacred Heart School! At our April assembly, each of the players will receive an individual trophy in celebration of this tournament win. Our thanks to Coach Eddie & Coach Amber! Congratulations to the coaches, players, families, & fans of Sacred Heart Girls’ Basketball!

Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
