First Grade Families-
We are on our last few days of school but our routine continues with lots of fun! We have been able to write with a pen all day, bring our fluffy friend, no homework, bubbles and our 1st-grade Latte Cafe. This week brings more surprises with our countdown.
Please continue to find time during the day to read for 20 minutes.
Sneak Peek at our Academic REVIEW Week
Word Work: We did fun word work with our classmates’ names.
Reading: Reading time for the next few days will be all about working on fluency and comprehension.
Writing/Grammar: Persuasive/Opinion Writing: Students will select their BEST writing.
Math: It’s all about fun REVIEW!
Religion: Students will go home with their religion book this week. We will continue practicing our prayers.
Art: Ms. Sofer will be making a book with the kids and some coloring. I will be working on making a cactus. They are coming out so ADORABLE!!!!
Reminders:
- Library books are due tomorrow.
- Thursday: Field Day! This is when our 8th graders lead fun games for the students. Wear family color for the free dress tomorrow.
- Friday: Noon Dismissal
REMINDER: CHECK THE SCHOOL WEBSITE FOR OUR END-OF-YEAR EVENTS. I HOPE TO SEE YOU ON JUNE 7TH!
Please make sure to check your child’s backpack and pull out any books or papers being sent home this week and next week. I ask that students keep their homework folder, planner and kindle in their backpacks daily (everything else stays home).
